Ordering Information

Returning customers: Please update your records with our new Dover, NH address. For those that are interested, We can re-create most of the decorations we have made in the past. However, for shipping purposes, please stick to the pottery items shown in this catalog. The Tallow and Amber lines are no longer in production.

Process: All of our pottery is made by hand in Dover, NH. Our stock decorations are our very own original drawings and watercolor paintings which we print using ceramic toner and fire directly into the glaze. Classic Great Bay pottery is all glaze trailing and brushwork.

Use and Care: Great Bay Pottery is rugged stoneware. Our clay and glazes are lead free, and It is designed to handle daily use. Microwave, and dishwasher safe.

Case QTY /Shipping: Please refer to the print catalog (or .pdf) for Case quantities. We have eliminated all petroleum based shipping materials. No more bubble wrap and pack­ing peanuts! The case quantities listed on our products list are not minimums, rather they indicate how many of that size item fit in a case. So, all items with a case qty 12 will fit in the same size case, etc. Mix and match items of the same size but reach a multiple of 12. For example: Coffee mugs, creamers and sugar jars all show a case qty of 12. If you'd like a few of each, order 6 coffee mugs, 3 creamers and 3 sugar jars to reach a full case of 12.

Flat rate shipping: Orders up to $599 - 12% Flat Rate, Over $600 - 8% Flat Rate, Pick up orders and third party billing - 5% Flat Rate packing/handling.

Minimum Order: 2 cases of your choice

Turn Around Time: We are a production pottery and we make a lot of one item at a time. The orders that ship fastest include only 1 or 2 different shapes. For example, an order of 200 coffee mugs will ship faster than an order that contains 1 of everything we make. Please plan ahead, we average approximately 4 weeks.

How to Order: Pottery item # + Decoration # (ie. coffee mug with adirondack chair decoration would be 155N02C)

New customers: A credit card is required for your first order. Please include a tax id # and billing/shipping address

Return Policy: All pieces are handmade, and variations in size and color and glaze application are to be expected. If, within 7 days, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase of stock items for a refund or exchange of the full merchandise value. We cannot accept returns on personalized items, including pottery with custom lettering and or decorating.

If you have received the wrong item, a FedEx call tag will be issued to pick up the wrong item and the correct one will be sent as soon as possible.

If your order has arrived damaged, Contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will issue a credit or send you a replacement.
